In other practical demonstrations, Highland Council Rangers were also entertained and hopefully informed with a lamprey hunt on the lower reaches of the Moniack Burn. Numerous lamprey ammocoetes were captured as well a lamprey transformer (a lamprey approaching its adult stage) in addition to trout, eels and salmon. N&BFT staff have often been called upon to give talks on its activities to a wide variety of bodies and organisations. These include local angling clubs, chambers of commerce, schools, Highlands of Scotland Tour Guides Association and many more. Please make contact with N&BFT if you would feel that your organisation would be interested in the services provided by the Trust.
